I don’t call myself as a collector, I don’t want to be focused on collecting, nor to become a robocameratoolgearmindfreak. I just simply liked/loved them, and try to use every single one of them as my daily partner. Then I try to fix them as much as I can (Lots of great people out there who show you how to do it by the way). Most of the time I get them from the flea market. It’s such a great feeling when you finally have them and to take it home with you.
As I may say that I might and I am being very subjective about how I like them or maybe about how I don’t. So don’t even bother to jump in and shout your mind out then.

She came along together with my Yashica Electro 35 CCN Wide. I don’t find anything amusing with her. I don’t know, I just don’t like her. The film crank lever is broken, but you can still use it without any problems, lens is clean, the flash is working fine. It is well built too. The only thing I find interesting is that she have a pop-up flash and a different kind of film rewind lever than most rangefinders. I had never used her. I hate the sound of the shutter too. It doesn’t go ‘click’ or ‘chrk’ or ‘tick’, it goes something like ‘tszszszk’. A little buzzing sound that’s very annoying for me. Oh, and the idea of getting the date when you expose a film printed on your negatives is just.. what can I say.. I might say pretty dumb, but that’s not it. It may come handy and useful for others though, so I don’t want to use the word dumb for the technology, it’s just I just don’t like it. Period.

My Canon A35 Datelux. No lens cap, no strap.
