so I did purchased a few film camera because of Tokyo Camera Style up until now, and they are :

konica big mini f, polaroid sx70 sonar, olympus pen EE-3, and a few accessories for my canonet G-III, rollei 35s, olympus trip, yashica mat-124G :)

i feel bad for her, for not having any friends from the same ballpark. oh well.. Anyway, I found her in my late grandfather’s house. I was looking for some old books, furniture books i guess, then I found her. Fujica Super 8.

I asked my grandma to take her home with me and she said ‘okay’.

she’s working just fine, the viewfinder is quite clean too. so if you wanna try to use it, just let me know.

i met this kind man in my home town. we met several times and did a nice quality chat overtime. In the end he gave me a few of his cameras, in this is one of them. I mentioned him on my early post.

she’s in a great shape when i got her. just insert the batteries, turn the on/off switch and she’s ready to go. Well the battery latch broke a few weeks after i use her. that’s why there’s a lot of masking tape goin’ on down there.

i remembered that i had quite a few pictures with her, but i can’t find it anywhere.. hmm… not good at all.

she’s quite a nice looking camera I’d say. and she has quite a fast lens too apparently. My problem with her is that.. her size.. she’s big! i merely used her, i remembered i try to take her for an afternoon stroll, then after a few frames the shutter got jammed and everything started to fall apart afterwards. And it never crossed my mind to get her fixed.

So.. yeah she’s just sitting there in the corner, in my room. the Yashica Lynx 14

this is not my camera. and it never was. but i just thought i post it anyway. she originally belongs to my friend, Duto. he’s an artist. he gave this polaroid to me in my last year of college i think, because he wanted it to be fixed. the flash was broken. it took me quite a long time to fix it. and in the end the flash is still not working because i couldn,t find the parts. i’ll look it up online sometime in the near future. and up ‘till now, she stayed safely in my showcase. (just let me know if you want your camera back :D) i’ll be gladly to return it to you.

I got an SLR cameras that’s been given to me. 2 of them are from my girlfriends late father. he was a lecturer for photography and communications, he was a great person even though i just met him once just a few weeks before he passed away. a canon AE-1 and a Fujica SX. they were broken, but it’s fixable. i just haven’t fixed them yet. maybe later.

the brightest camera on my display set is the ansco pix. all i know is that this pocket camera was there in my house since i was 2 or 3 years old. my dad bought it for my sister i guess. it was a very ‘pop-ish’ camera i’d say. with the pink color on the front and the light grey on the back. a shocking yellow for the flash switch in the front of the cameras body. a light purple color for the lens cover and the shutter button, and yes, it’s very girly.
